Three Pointers to Avoid Google Work from Home Scams

Google Work from Home ScamFirst of all, Happy New Year  and apologies for the lack of new content over the past few months! I have just seen how the traffic has built organically on the site over over the last year and have decided to allocate more time to keeping it up to date, so watch this space in 2012.

Wow, just spent the last hour or so researching the many variation of the Google Scams  out there on the internet. We know that the internet is prime real estate for the business of separating trusting, often desperate, punters from their hard earned cash. These online scams seem to have carried this tradition forward in spectacular style. From “The Google Lottery” to “The Google Money Tree” there seem to be endless variations of this theme.

I have included below three important pointers to help avoid these scams.

  1. Unrealistic Blog Posts or Press Stories about using big brands like Google to make Money Online. These types of pages usually look similar to reputable news sites. Remember if you arrived at the site site by following a link in an advertising email or online ad you need to be particularly cautious.
  2. False Reviews of Work from Home Systems. Beware of websites that pretend to review work from home systems, but in actually are created primarily to redirect you to other online scams. Detecting these sites can be especially tricky, because they claim to help you avoid scams. Watch out particularly for sites with existing user comments, but without allowing you to add your additional comment.
  3. Get Rich Quick Sites. There is no legal method to Get Rich Quick, the good old saying “if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is” comes into play.

The indicators are that economic climate if going to get no better in 2012. The internet does offer many awesome opportunities to build your own future, but be warned of the dangers! Always remember – “Successful people do what unsuccessful people don’t dare”.

To a Healthy, Wealthy 2012.

My name is Jonas Mashinini, from Witbank. I used to be an Artisan working long hours Sunday to Sunday with no time for myself. In 2006 I started looking for a business opportunity to work from home for additional income so I could have more time with my family. I searched online and found my sponsor.

I attended the Success Training Seminar and signed up for the business immediately. I started using the products and my friends noticed a change in me. I’d lost 5kgs and had lots of energy. I started sharing my product results and soon my friends and family were using the products.

With my sponsors guidance I had my first grand opening and signed up my first distributors. I originally did the business on a part time basis and by 2008 had grown a strong customer base of 25 customers and built a steady  additional income.

In 2008 I attended the Summer Spectacular in Sun City and heard first hand about Nutrition Clubs. I went to Lesotho to learn more, and was excited about how with Nutrition Clubs I could educate my customers about using the products and helping them achieve a product result. With Nutrition Clubs I’m helping my team to grow their business.

I opened my first Nutrition Club in May 2009 and went full time in the business by July 2009. I encourage my team to qualify and attend every event and meeting and to always use the products.

I have been working with my team so they too can achieve a life change like has been brought to me. I bought my first car cash, and look forward to making my family’s dreams come true.

“While Penny was finishing her university degree, my sales career in home-improvements was failing,” explains Tony Wing. “A growing mountain of final demands led to the repossession of our home.”

Tony goes on, “Hopelessly depressed, we left Birmingham, England, for a new start in London. While lodging with Penny’s sister, a flyer arrived in the mail inviting us to an Opportunity Meeting. Excited, but skeptical, we went, signed up as Distributors and got on the products. I lost 16 pounds in five weeks, and Penny lost numerous inches. We both felt great!”

That’s when their lives completely turned around. “Like excited children,” Tony remembers, “we called everybody and became Supervisors that first month. Soon after, we got married and started a family. Today, our two wonderful daughters, Laura and Naomi, are our inspiration.” Tony and Penny were guided by their friends and Sponsors, President’s Team members Alan and Carol Lorenz. They followed the Success Training Seminar with remarkable results.

Today, Tony continues to marvel at their good fortune. “Who would have believed that we would be earning millions of dollars, enjoying a luxurious lifestyle and running our own international business from our beautiful country home? Incredible!”

Can a White Dairy Farmer earn R50 000 per month in The New South Africa?

Anthony & Mary LarterWe still cannot believe how a little flyer has changed the course of our lives.

We had been farming in Molteno for 20 years, and although we loved farming and the way of life, it was tough trying to make a decent living.

In order to make a bigger profit margin, we opened a dairy in town and processed all the milk we produced into cheese, yogurt and packaged fruit juices, supplying the Pick ‘n Pay’s in the Queenstown and East London areas. This worked well until we entered a partnership, which turned horribly sour. The problem was compounded even more by a prolonged 5 year drought, which cost us dearly, landing us in a debt spiral that we could not seem to get out of. We had to do something, so we started looking for something that could give us some extra cash – fast!!

This all changed when we received a flyer in Queenstown and were introduced to this amazing opportunity. By sharing our results on the products and the business opportunity with friends and family, we were able to generate a profit in excess of R15 000 in our first 6 weeks of business.

In April 1997 (4 months after starting the business), Mary and I decided we were wasting our time, destroying our health and losing our family by continuing with what we were doing. So, we closed the doors of the dairy, sold the farm, paid what we could of the debts, and threw ourselves full time into the business opportunity.

We pride ourselves in that, in spite of the fact that we were in debt to the tune of R750 000 at the time of closing our business, we were able to meet our monthly commitments from our new business.

Since then, I have been overseas 18 times with the company. Mary and I have been on two wonderful cruises in the Caribbean in 1998 as well as in 2005 and have just returned from the most wonderful holiday at Porto Caras in Greece, fully paid for by the company. We have since moved to Port Elizabeth, into a lovely home, enjoying the kind of lifestyles and incomes most corporate executives only dream of, while working from home, around the family, enjoying an above average income.

We truly love what we do because of the incredible impact we have on people’s lives through the products and the life-changing business opportunity.

Four Red Lights to Spot Home Based Job Scams

Work from HomeThe golden rule for avoiding work from home job scams is common sense – if an opportunity sounds too good to be true, chances are very strong it is.

With unemployment stuck at over 9% and many potential employees hunting for a new position for over 40 weeks, offers to get paid for home based tasks may sound appealing.

But BEWARE. There are many scammers preying on desperate job seekers to make a quick buck. In April, a California based man was sentenced to six years in prison for falsely promising bartending and mystery shopper jobs to people around the country in a scam that cost thousands of victims at total of $6 million.

Some experts on Work from Home careers who operate a virtual job training for the military, maintain a “Scam-o-Meter” to track scammers that seek to part honest job seekers with cash or personal information. As of July, the meter estimated that there were at least 60 scam advertisements online for every legitimate home based opportunity.

In difficult times, punters let down their guard due to a sense of desperation. Roy Davidson of Elite Business Systems warned ”Scammers have been able to continue because it seems that the public are vulnerable and keep coming back for more. “It’s really tough, even for the more savvy job seekers. I’ve spoken to people who blog about this topic extensively and they’ve come forward and admitted, ‘I’ve been scammed.’”

If you’re looking for part or full time work you can do from home, here are some red lights that the experts say could signal a job advertisement isn’t what is claimed.

Red Light One. Phrases such as “work from home”.  The home based market is changing, with more companies and government agencies giving employees flexibility to choose where and when to work. Companies with real positions are adapting their language to use words such as “telecommute” or “remote working” to describe available positions to separate themselves from online scammers.

Red Light Two. No company name. Legitimate blind ads aren’t unusual, especially if they’re placed by a recruitment agency operating on a legitimate company’s behalf. But they could also signal a scam. If you are unsure, research the recruitment agency to make sure they’re for genuine.

Red Light Three. No company website or email address. At a time when even the smallest legitimate company has a website or other online presence, be careful of job listings that don’t include a web address. Similarly, take care when replying to an email address that doesn’t include a company’s domain name (such as Hotmail for Gmail). It could be a scammer posing as the company.

Red Light Four. Promises of quick cash. If you’re promised you’ll make easy money for easy work, that’s a red light.

If you find a job that sounds promising, try verifying it yourself to see if it’s legitimate. Contact the company directly. Perform a Google search on the company’s name and the word “scam” to see what comes up. However, take search results with a pinch of salt. You may find some unflattering comments, but that doesn’t mean they’re scammers. It just helps give a bigger picture of a company. And if there’s nothing, that’s an even better sign.”

Bankrupt Small Business Owners earn over R80 000 last month!

Shawn & Cemon Lewis

Shawn & Cemon Lewis

Shawn and Cemon Lewis started their journey a few years ago when the company they owned went bankrupt. They walked into their home one day to find everything repossessed. Luckily the bed had been left behind, because under the bed was the International Business Pack!

Shawn had attended an Opportunity meeting after seeing a poster advertising the opportunity. I remembered the stories of people who were making a great success of the business. We got started again by using the products, we both had phenomenal energy results, Cemon lost 7kg and 11cm around her waist and I lost 5kg.

Following the step by step plan we made R1500 profit in our first two weeks, and life has never been the same. We attend every training we can and encourage our team to do the same so we can keep learning how to improve ourselves and our business.

We now have a beautiful home in Durbanville Cape Town, where we work from our home using the internet. This gives us the freedom to spend time with our kids aged 10 and 8 which is more valuable to us than anything else. We have traveled overseas seven times to the UK, USA, Holland, Germany, Prague, Spain and recently to Sweden, we also enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Paris. We are now in qualification for a fully paid Mediterranean Cruise and will shortly be going on a fully paid for vacation to Zanzibar.
We just can’t believe how this business has changed our lives. Last month our income was over R80 000.The best part of it all is we have achieved this by helping other people achieve what they want. We know that whatever your dreams and aspirations are you can achieve them.

If you are looking for a real solution to your financial problems, there are no get rich quick schemes out there. We are always looking for serious people that are teachable, with a strong worth ethic and a deep desire to change their circumstances. Tea Lady that earned over R40 000 last month?

Nazlie & Nizaam Nickel

Nazlie & Nizaam Nickel

Nazlie & Nizaam Nickel were originally from Portlands, Mitchell’s Plain. Nazlie used to be an overweight tea-lady and Nizaam was an overweight parts salesman in the motor industry.

“We were looking for an opportunity to earn an extra R500 to help with the petrol, as we just weren’t making ends meet. We were very frustrated about our situation as not only did we have to choose every month between buying food and paying accounts but the area we were living in was not safe. We got started on the products and we both had great energy results. Nizaam lost 18kg’s and I lost 20kgs. My entire family uses the products and we’ve enjoyed great health since we’ve started following a healthy lifestyle and using the products.

We were excited by the business opportunity and followed a step-by-step plan laid out by my sponsor, attended a Training Seminar and made an incredible R3500 in our first month. We were blown away, but that was just the beginning. By our third month we had qualified to go to Sun City (first time out of Cape Town) and 6 months later went to Atlanta, USA my first international travel. I couldn’t believe it!

We did the business very part time for 3 years earning an extra R5000-R7000 per month. In February 2008 we found ourselves taking care of my elder brother and mother. We realized that if it had been one of us, the other one would be destitute with the children and bills. We both decided that working for bosses certainly was not building a future for us or our kids. In March of 2008 we started the business full time from home around our two beautiful kids, and as a result of our commitment by June 2008 we qualified for the VIP treatment in Barcelona as well as Sun City in November 2008. We were able to move out of Mitchell’s Plain to Durbanville in December, went off to Prague July 2009, and are just back from Sweden. In a few weeks we are off to Zanzibar for our first fully paid for vacation and last month made over R40 000 profit!”

Jonathan Manko

Europe’s newest 20K Member, International President Team Member – Jonathan Manko. “In 1986 I emigrated from Ghana to Spain” says Manko. “I had just graduated from college and was travelling through Europe to the United States. When I arrived in Spain I fell in love with the country and decided to stay there. I was working as a DJ and also as a musician in a band. I loved what I was doing, but in reality I wasn’t earning much money. I was introduced to the Work from Home business and started doing the basics; using the products, wearing the button and talking to people. In my first month I earned $1500 and that was just working on a part-time basis. Hard work and total dedication helped me qualify for the Global Expansion Team after only eight months At the beginning of 1997 I achieved the goal I set out to reach –President’s Team, with the help of the best leadership trainer’s and philosophers like Jim Rohn and of course Mark Hughes. Qualifying for the President’s Team has been a dream. My next goals were to be a 15K member, then a 20K member, all of which I have now accomplished.” “If I could do it, so can you! “
