First of all, Happy New Year and apologies for the lack of new content over the past few months! I have just seen how the traffic has built organically on the site over over the last year and have decided to allocate more time to keeping it up to date, so watch this space in 2012.
Wow, just spent the last hour or so researching the many variation of the Google Scams out there on the internet. We know that the internet is prime real estate for the business of separating trusting, often desperate, punters from their hard earned cash. These online scams seem to have carried this tradition forward in spectacular style. From “The Google Lottery” to “The Google Money Tree” there seem to be endless variations of this theme.
I have included below three important pointers to help avoid these scams.
- Unrealistic Blog Posts or Press Stories about using big brands like Google to make Money Online. These types of pages usually look similar to reputable news sites. Remember if you arrived at the site site by following a link in an advertising email or online ad you need to be particularly cautious.
- False Reviews of Work from Home Systems. Beware of websites that pretend to review work from home systems, but in actually are created primarily to redirect you to other online scams. Detecting these sites can be especially tricky, because they claim to help you avoid scams. Watch out particularly for sites with existing user comments, but without allowing you to add your additional comment.
- Get Rich Quick Sites. There is no legal method to Get Rich Quick, the good old saying “if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is” comes into play.
The indicators are that economic climate if going to get no better in 2012. The internet does offer many awesome opportunities to build your own future, but be warned of the dangers! Always remember – “Successful people do what unsuccessful people don’t dare”.
To a Healthy, Wealthy 2012.
